Attività di Ricerca
Come ricercatore, è responsabile del laboratorio di Chimica Clinica, ha esperienza in biologia molecolare ed epidemiologia nutrizionale e la sua attività di ricerca si sviluppa nell’area Food & Health.
È responsabile scientifico del progetto europeo Stance4Health (Smart Technologies for personAlised Nutrition and Consumer Engagement) Call Identifier H2020-SFS-2018-2020, contratto n.: 816303. Il progetto ha l’obiettivo di supportare le scelte alimentari di specifici gruppi di consumatori (adulti e bambini con sovrappeso, celiachia o allergie alimentari) per migliorarne e ottimizzare l’attività e la composizione del microbiota intestinale.
È coinvolto in studi europei quali: il progetto IFamily (contratto n. 266044), finanziato nell’ambito del Settimo Programma Quadro: Determinants of food choice and eating habits. e il progetto IDEFICS (contratto n. 016181-2), finanziato nell’ambito del Sesto Programma Quadro: Food Quality and Safety.
