Lines within the Institute of Food
Science
Within
the ISA the following research lines are developed,
together with activities aimed to improve their
technological transfer:
- Studies
on the composition and nutritional qualities of
food
- Evaluation
of the effects of nutrition and nutrients on
human health
- Characterization
and improvement of local food related to the
Mediterranean diet
- Genomics,
proteomics and bioinformatic of nutritional
sciences
The
research lines are characterized by
multidisciplinary approaches and are organized in
three distinct research areas, formed by different
research units:
